The science, plainly
Nasal breathing isn’t a wellness trend. It’s how your body is designed to work.
Your nose isn’t just an air intake, it’s a filter, a humidifier, and a small chemical factory. As air passes through, your sinuses release nitric oxide, a molecule your body uses to relax and widen blood vessels and airways. Nasal nitric oxide has been studied since the 1990s for its effect on how efficiently oxygen moves from the lungs into the blood.1
In a 2023 study, healthy adults breathing nasally at rest showed lower blood pressure and a calmer autonomic state during the session than when breathing through the mouth.2 None of this requires you to think about your breathing. That’s the point of Nasova: the mechanism does the work while you sleep.
Nasova has not been clinically studied. The research cited here concerns nasal breathing, not this product.
